Johnathan Dunslow who was raised in Georgetown ON, is a contemporary Canadian artist based in the GTA. He is a painter specializing in acrylic paint. His work focuses on the themes of photorealism, portraiture, colour psychology, and exploring memories.
Having completed his BFA in Drawing and Painting from OCAD University, he hopes to continue to build his portfolio of acrylic paintings. Continuing to work from personally taken photograph references, he strives to transform them into a contemporary form of expression and narration.

Why is art important to you?
Art is important to me as it's a form of visual expression that allows individuals the creative freedom to express their unique style of art when portraying different concepts and themes.
